MeowExport is shown as FreeUp on your Mac. The steps below cover the normal connected-iPhone workflow.

iPhone not found

1. Unlock the iPhone and confirm that you trust this Mac.
2. Reconnect the data cable and close other media apps that may own the device session.
3. Open FreeUp and use Refresh after the initial discovery attempt finishes.

Permission denied

Review Photos, removable-volume, and Files and Folders access in System Settings → Privacy & Security, then return to FreeUp and retry. Never modify the macOS TCC database.

Export issue

Choose an accessible destination with enough free space. FreeUp does not overwrite existing files; verified files remain available when an export is canceled or partially fails.
