Scan or import
- Choose Smart Scan or another tool from Home or Tools.
- Grant camera access only when you want to capture. You can instead import items through the Photos or Files picker.
- Review crop, page order, and options before saving the new result.
- Use the document detail screen or the iOS share sheet to export a copy you want to keep elsewhere.
Change the app language
Open Settings & Trust and use App Language at the top. System follows the preferred language and device region; English and 简体中文 override that choice immediately. Your explicit selection remains after you quit and reopen the app.
Storage and a new device
MeowScanner currently has no developer account or cloud sync. Before deleting the app, erasing a device, or moving to another device, export every PDF, image, Office document, or other result you need to keep.
Feature availability
Some workflows depend on iOS or iPadOS capabilities, device memory and storage, valid source formats, Apple Translation language support, or an HTTPS server you specify. The app stops and preserves the source when it cannot validate a safe output.

Include the MeowScanner version and build, iOS or iPadOS version, the steps before the problem, and the exact message shown. Do not send ID images, private documents, full OCR text, passwords, or URLs containing credentials in your first email.
